Materials
925 sterling silver
All our jewelry is crafted from 925 sterling silver and gold plated silver. Sterling silver consists of 92,5 % pure silver combined with other metals that enhance its strength. Silver is also an exceptionally rare cause of allergic reactions, which makes it an excellent choice even for sensitive skin.
Some pieces are finished with rhodium plating or a protective electrocoating. These finishes help preserve the brightness of the silver and the beauty of the gold plating, while also offering additional protection against scratches and everyday wear. This makes our jewelry especially well suited for regular use.
Wires
Alongside silver, we use high-quality German gold and silver plated wires with a copper core in our designs. The material choice of these wires is the result of careful testing and thoughtful product development. In bead wrapping, the properties of the wire play a crucial role in both the appearance and longevity of the piece. The copper core provides the ideal balance of strength and flexibility, allowing the wire to hold its shape while keeping the beads beautifully supported year after year.
Crystals
The beads used in our pieces are Czech and Austrian crystal glass beads. Their exceptional clarity and refined sparkle bring a subtle sense of luxury to every piece.
Care instructions
Use and care
Our pieces are designed to be worn and enjoyed, and every material is chosen to support lasting beauty. Still, how a piece is cared for plays an important role in how it ages. Silver is a precious metal that can be treasured for generations, but like all fine materials, it benefits from gentle, occasional care.
Tarnishing is a natural characteristic of silver and nothing to worry about. To restore its shine, we recommend using a silver polishing cloth or a cleaner made specifically for silver. Gold plated jewelry can be gently wiped with a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid excessive rubbing to preserve the gold surface. The
jewelry can also be cleaned with mild soapy water to remove everyday residue, if needed. Please avoid strong chemicals and always dry your jewelry carefully after cleaning.
Try to avoid unnecessary exposure to water and products such as hand cream, perfume or hairspray. Jewelry is best stored away from sunlight and moisture, for example in its original box or pouch.
Clasp care
Silver is a relatively soft metal, so the clasp of hoop earrings may gradually loosen over time. If this happens, the clasp will begin to open and close more easily. To ensure your earring stays securely in place, we recommend checking the clasp from time to time. If necessary, it can be gently tightened by pressing together the parts where the clasp closes. This can be done with pliers, tweezers or even with your fingers. Always proceed slowly and carefully to avoid making the clasp too tight.
If you ever need assistance, whether with cleaning your jewelry or adjusting a clasp, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to help.
